Sophie offers him some medication not knowing that he has been taking something for his knee already. Peter knowing this, doesn't say a word and takes the pills which makes him start to hallucinate after she leaves. Shelby's mother apparently has problems dealing with things at home. It seems that the weight of caring for Shelby's step-father, who had a heart attack, had became too much and she needed Shelby to be there to help care for him. When Shelby receives the news that she must leave, she is in dismay, but found it typical for her life to take another wrong turn. She becomes bitter when she finds out that she doesn't even get a weeks notice and has one day to say good bye to the people she has gotten so close too. The Cliffhangers become annoyed with the way Scott has been acting ever since Shelby left. He refuses to sit with the rest of the gang, but instead decides to isolate himself and act like he did when he first got to Horizon. Daisy tries to talking to him but has no luck getting the message through. Peter's hallucinations begin to progress. He begins to envision a younger version of him who forces him not the reveal the truth of his drug addiction. Auggie and Juliet both try to talk to Scott but get receives the same treatment he gave to Daisy. Sophie escorts Scott's biological mother into the school. Obviously surprised Scott asks ?What are you doing her mom?? Scott wasn't exactly thrilled with the idea of a conversation with his mom. Juliette thus calls a group meeting of the Cliffhangers. Scott finally agrees to go with his mom to lunch despite the fact he doesn't really like the idea of it. At first Scott is angry with his mom because he thinks that she wouldn't believe that his step-mom had sexually abused him. That all changed after he had his double bacon cheeseburger and some pool. Scott learns that his mother does believe in what he had to say about the situation Peter's hallucinations went out of control as he started to see his past experiences with family and friends.Shelby comes back. She walks in on all of the Cliffhangers while they were enjoying Scott's piano playing. They all rush to meet her and give her a big hug. Daisy comes finally and gives Shelby and huge hug obviously happy that she is back. Slowly, Shelby approaches Scott and without any words they look into each other eyes. A little shy and awkward at first they look away, finally she reaches for him and they hug. |
